We’re Bill and Donna Taylor—husband and wife, and native Californians who believe deeply in the power of art, history, and a well-told story. Our Poolhouse Studio was born from a lifelong love of design, creativity, and the vibrant beauty of our home state. Over the years, we’ve remodeled several 1920’s homes, crafted one-of-a-kind pieces, and surrounded ourselves with color and texture in every form.
What started in our own pool house as a personal creative retreat has grown into a studio where we share our passion with others. Our work blends the unconventional with the heartfelt—mosaics, mixed media, and vintage-inspired designs that speak to nostalgia, whimsy, and the joy of the handmade.
